Vanna - All Good Things Tour
Before Warped Tour I had the opportunity to hang out with my friends in Vanna on the northeast leg of their farewell tour. This was my first tour working directly with a band and I couldn't have been happier that it was with them, even if it was to start saying good bye.
I'm sure most people that have followed my work from the start know that I did most of my growing as a photographer photographing Vanna . I've photographed just about every one of their New England shows since 2011. While they tried to have me out on tour before, my schedule just never worked so it was great to finally hit the road for a few days with them.
The first date was at The Met in Pawtucket, RI. Each date would start with people that bought VIP tickets coming in for an acoustic performance, Q&A, and a meet and greet with signing and photos.

We got a hotel that night before we headed to the next date in Connecticut. We got some food and ended up watching Goodfellas until about 3am while I edited.
The next day we were at The Webster in Hartford, CT. After I shot all of the merch we spent most of the day hanging in the greenroom before heading to soundcheck and a local deli to get some of the biggest sandwiches I've seen. Then it was showtime again. The show ended up being the hottest I have ever been in my entire life. Hotter than Warped Tour in Arizona in the middle of July, hotter than anything. Ever. My lenses fogged the entire time and the band even had to leave the stage mid set for water and to cool off.

The last date was in Albany, NY at Fuze Box. After we left the hotel we grabbed some breakfast buffet and hit the road. We stopped for gas and they had fidget spinners so of course we bought some. Once we were there and loaded in we headed over to a place called Bombers which had some pretty bomb burritos. I left a little early to make sure I had time to catch Vanna's acoustic set and meet and greet then before we knew it it was time for the last show.

It was a quick three days but I got to spend it hanging out with a bunch of amazing friends and take photos of them as they began saying goodbye. Vanna has one final show with a stacked lineup at The Palladium in December and you know I'll be there snapping away again, and probably rockin' and crying a bit.
